Mawile is a Steel Pokémon, in fact it is one of the two pokemon that is a pure steel pokemon, all other pokemon are steel and something else, the other pure steel pokemon is Registeel, Mawile uses the mouth on its head for certain attacks. Mawile is based on a japanese myth of a woman with an extra mouth on the back of her head.
