Emmet and Ingo debut when the mayor introduces them to Marshal, Black, White, and Chris. They then take the Battle Subway out on a trial run with White testing it. They watch her battles to see what the subway is like for a normal trainer, though Emmet says it's more like studying the example of a trainer who loses every battle.
They eventually leave her to go to the head of the subway. While on the above ground track on the way to Anville Town, Emmet notes that the severe thunderstorm has triggered the train's automatic stop system. They decide to wait out the storm.
EmmetEmmet is almost always smiling. Emmet does not have much of a sense of tact, or perhaps of what is socially acceptable. He is fanatically enthused about battles in a way that is not emotional but instead rather robotic. White specifically mentions that he and his brother are like robots.
Emmet specializes in double battles.
IngoIngo is almost always frowning. Between he and Emmet, he seems to be the leader. He also has a better grasp of tact, and seems successful at reining Emmet in. White specifically mentions that he and his brother are like robots.
Ingo specializes in single battles.
